1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Senderly — including watching content via a share link or 8-digit code, or creating an account to upload files — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Senderly on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. The service
Senderly is a link-based file and video sharing and viewing service, provided as a web app at getsenderly.xyz and as apps for iOS and Android. Viewers can paste a Senderly share link or an 8-digit code (or pick a local video) and watch instantly without an account. Creators can sign up to upload files and obtain clean shareable links.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- No account is required to watch content.
- To create a creator account you must be at least 18 years old. You can sign up with an email and password, or use Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use and prohibited content
You must not upload, share, or use Senderly to distribute:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this results in immediate removal and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
- Content you do not own or are not licensed to distribute, or that otherwise infringes someone else's intellectual property. Copyright complaints are handled through our DMCA & takedown process.
- Illegal content, or content that violates applicable law.
- Malware, phishing, or anything designed to harm a viewer's device or data.
- Content used to harass, threaten, defame, or doxx others.
5. Your content and licence
You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant Senderly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, stream, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the service to you and the viewers you share with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we are required to retain by law.
6. Moderation, reporting, and takedowns
We may review, remove, or disable access to content, and suspend or terminate accounts, where we reasonably believe content or conduct violates these terms or applicable law. The apps include in-app Report and Block controls so users can flag content or block other users. Copyright owners can file a notice through our DMCA process, and Indian residents can contact our Grievance Officer.
7. Creator earnings
We may, in the future, enable creators to earn from engagement with their content. Any such earnings, eligibility, and payout terms would be communicated separately. There is no active paid earnings or payout system at this time, and nothing in these terms guarantees any earnings.
8. No paid products
Senderly does not currently offer any paid products — there are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no paid tiers. If we introduce ads or paid features in the future, we will update these terms before those features launch.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content shared by users is accurate or lawful.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Senderly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) a nominal fixed amount; because the service is currently free to use, this cap is generally that nominal amount.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Senderly Pty. Ltd. from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising out of content you upload or your breach of these terms or of applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Termination
You can stop using Senderly at any time, and you can delete your account at any time — in-app via Settings → More → Delete account (a double-confirmation step), or by emailing support@getsenderly.xyz. Deleting your account removes the account and associated content (profile, uploaded files, follows, favourites, and playlists). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Senderly Pty. Ltd. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your place of residence.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
