How is Senderly different from Diskwala / TeraBox / Earnvids?+
We pay revenue from view #1 with a published 55% creator share (not opaque tiered CPM). Native INR payouts, ₹500 minimum to UPI — not USD-with-FX. We never paywall a feature that ships free. Do my viewers need to sign up to watch?+
No. Anyone with the link can watch in the web player. The Senderly Android app is also free to install with no account required — they only sign up if they want Premium (ad-free) or want to track watch history across devices.
How long until my first file is live?+
About 30 seconds. Upload via dashboard or forward to @SenderlyUploadBot on Telegram — you get a shortlink immediately, and we don't do any "processing" delay. Diskwala-style raw MP4 from R2, no encoding queue.
What's the exact creator revenue share?+
55% of net ad revenue from every view, accruing daily. We publish the rate publicly because we don't want surprise rate-changes to be a competitive advantage. When we change it (up or down), we'll announce it 60 days in advance.
When and how do I get paid?+
Once your wallet crosses ₹500, you can request a payout from the dashboard. We pay weekly (every Sunday) via UPI, IMPS, or bank transfer in INR. No FX conversion losses. First payout requires PAN-only KYC for amounts above ₹1,000.
How is TDS handled?+
For Indian creators we deduct 1% TDS once your annual earnings cross ₹10,000 in a financial year, per Section 194O. You'll get a Form 16A at year-end. No TDS below that threshold, no surprise deductions.
What can I upload? What's banned?+
Video (MP4 / MKV / MOV), audio (MP3 / WAV / AAC), images (JPG / PNG / WebP), documents (PDF), archives (ZIP / RAR). Up to 4 GB per file, unlimited total files. Banned: CSAM, copyrighted content you don't own the rights to, malware, doxxing, anything illegal in India. See the full Terms.
Do I keep the rights to my content?+
Yes — you retain full ownership. We hold a non-exclusive license only for as long as we host the file, strictly to deliver it to viewers. Delete the file and that license terminates immediately. We never train AI on your content.
What happens if someone DMCA-claims my file?+
We follow a strict notice-and-takedown process. You get notified, can file a counter-notice, and we restore content found to be wrongly claimed. Three valid strikes = account review. The full DMCA process is at /dmca.
What does Premium unlock for viewers?+
Ad-free playback, original-quality streams, and offline downloads. Three plans: ₹499/month, ₹1,299/3 months (savings), ₹3,999/year with a 7-day free trial. Premium is the only paid product on the consumer side — every other feature is free forever.
Is the iOS app available?+
Senderly is available on both iOS and Android. The same Senderly shortlinks open natively on each — Universal Links on iOS, App Links on Android — or in any browser.
How does in-app support work?+
Every screen in the app has a "Contact support" button that opens an email or Telegram chat to a human. We publish our average first-reply time on the About page, currently under 24 hours. No automated form-into-a-void.
